Sonic coughed from his hiding place

A new morning begins, and the kitsune sleepily gazed up at the clock that read 7:30. He did not want to get up yet....His stepsister and stepfather would most likely not allow him that luxury.

Sonic Coughed and Shifted his bag

Tails lazily looked down to see Sonic shifting around in the bag. He poked at it.

Sonic twitched and growled slightly " Lemme out" he yelled from the bag

Tails opened it up to see a hedgehog there.

"How did you get in there~?" Tails asked.

Sonic grumbled " dont wanna talk about it" he said softly sitting down and watching the Guy that released him

Tails smiled lightly, snuggling the hedgehog lightly.

"Aww, you're so cute, though." The kit added.

"If my stepsister was the one who did this to you, I'm sorry.....she can be a real bitch sometimes..."

Sonic shrugged" it happens"

A small bell could be heard from the downstairs, indicating that Jessica had woken up. Tails sighed with annoyance as he got up from the bed, placing the hedgehog on his shoulder as he walked down the attic, which is where he slept, and down into the kitchen to make her's and his stepfather's breakfast.

Sonic looked around at everyone in the kitchen

Tails hears the ringing of the bell again.

"Miles!"

Tails's ears slanted down in annoyance.

Sonic bolted out the Window " for your kind deed ill do you one in time you will see" he said as he vanished

Tails turned chibi, and blinked. He had no idea why the hedgehog just disappeared like that. But the bells broke his attention again, and Tails grabbed Jessica's breakfast, taking it upstairs.

"Good morning, dear sister Jessica! How are you?" Tails tried to be cheerful as he set down her breakfast tray.

"The gall of you to ask me that! You treat your dear sister with respect, Miles!" She spit out the last word like it's a curse word.

Tails hated to be called by his real name. It always irked him when she always called him that, but he would not dare to speak against it...unless he wanted a beating from Scourge.

"Yes. My mistake." She pointed to a wicker basket at the foot of her bed.


"I want my blue dress washed before we go out!"

Tails let out a sigh. The two of them usually go out for something or other, and leave him alone.....With tons of chores as usual

*sonic peeked in and watched as Jessicas flew acrossed the room as he chuckled*

Sonic sighed as he caught Tails alone " you must go to the ball , i have something i must do but you will see me on and off, go to the ball" he whispered before vanishing again

Knuckles peeked out at Tails " hard day Cinderelly?" he asked giggling slightly" Sorry Tai, shall we start the chores?" he asked as he heard the others start work on her dress silently

Receiving some sort of invitation from the palace, Scourge opened the envelope, glancing at it's contents.

"Well, what'd ya know! Jessica~ The prince is having a ball! Ain't that nice? Damn, now I have to get you a dress! Nah, I got a better idea....Miles! I want you to make Jess' dress. Fuck everything else; I'll letting you off easy this time. Be thankful for that,""

Tails was about ready to start the chores his stepsister assigned him when she ran right past him, knocking him over. He looked down to see a slight cut on his leg that bled.

"Ow......" Tails whimpered slightly.

Then hearing Scourge calling for him, he used his twin tails to fly downstairs, hearing Jessica mutter that he was a freak for his deformity.

"You're a discrase to the Prower name, little brother," Jessica sneered. "I'm somewhat happy Amedus and Rosemary are dead. This way, they don't have to see what a freak you are!"

Tails glanced down at the floor, not letting anyone see the slight tear that fell from his face. However, Jessica caught this, and just laughed.

"Weakling."
(Note: Amedus and Rosemary Prower are Tails' actual parents in the Archie Comics.)

Scourge pulled Jessica away for a moment.

"Jess, stop it. I don't care how much ya hate the brat, stop making fun of him. Miles would kick your sorry ass if he ever heard you say that."

Scourge took her comments to Tails on the offense that his stepson's evil twin, Miles, was one of his good friends.

Jessica scowled, rolling her eyes.

"Yes, father."

Then Scourge glanced over at Tails, handing him a red gown.

"Here's Jess' dress. I want you to fix it up. Ya know, make it look pretty and all that. I expect it to be done by tonight."

Then the hedgehog took the female kitsune's hand, walking out the door.

"I mean it."

Tails took the gown with a distained look on his face. He knew if he didn't get the dress finished, he'd get beat. The kitsune had enough scars and burises from Jessica. He didn't want any more.

"I'll do my best...." Tails said softly as he went upstairs to fix the gown.

Sonic Crept out of his hiding Place and Took the dress from Tails, after a few moments he handed it back:

"Give this to Jessica" he said as he handed the dress to her, Smiling as the nice stepped out with her dress" This is yours" he said helping the mice set down the covered dress " Wear this to the Ball, but hide it til then" he said As he uncovered the dress:
