Crisis City

A.J blinked sighing as she cocked her head slightly before turning around and looking at a few buildings,"Hmm.."she whispered moving over to a crumbling building and strolling inside of it before the building collasoped[sp]

Knuckles graoned and stared off into space

A.J hummed softly sitting ontop of a ruined part of the building looking at her newly found sword with amusment,"mmm..Shiny"she chuckled softly as she shifted hanging from the edge before reaching into a hallowed out hole,"Where is it"

Tails tilted his head slightly.

"He.....he did?" The fox asked in shock. "Grey-san didn't need to do that....."

Then seeing Silvails holding the emeralds, he got an idea. Tails used the Chaos Emeralds' power to restore Grey. With that, the emeralds went black, just as they did when Chaos used them and when Sonic was turned into a Werehog.

"Let's hope that worked....."

Knuckles rolled his eyes as Amy ran for the portal

A.J jumped down curseing to herself as she landed wrong her foot. Shaking off the pain she walked over to knuckles before warping her arms around his waist sighing deeply.

Sonic walked into crisis city and looked around

Watches Tails and the others as sonic looks around

Tails nudged Grey.

"Hello~! You awake~?"

A.J blinked yawning lightly as she nuzzled knuckle's neck before watching tails before she purred softly watching the group with a lazy look passing over her face.

Sonic entered running to his hiding place as he held his bleeding arm in complete serenity fighting back tears

Knuckles stood up from where he was sitting and carefully tried to follow Sonic, spotting him he sat down next to him and held him as he cried

Tails, knowing Grey was alright, ran to see where Sonic was. Knuckles told him that he was hurt, and that pained him. They grew up together...they were like brothers....even more than that. The kitsune was upset that Sonic might have done something because of something he had done.

"Please don't tell me that it was because of me........." Tails said as tears formed in his eyes.

"I've already caused someone's death.....I don't want to cause another....."

(He means when he had to kill Cosmo)

Sonic whimpered slightly and moved his arm wraooing a bandage around it as Knuckles appraoched and kneeld by him holding him " Knux i dont know what to do.." he whispered into his chest " He is better off without me' he mumbled sinking deeper into his hiding place tugging knuckles with him as he heard Tail's voice

Knuckles stroked his hair and held him as he heard Tail's pained voice "T-" he opened his mouth only to have sonic cover it, looking down at him curiously Sonic shook his head " please dont Knuckles" he said snuggling into Knuckles' chest " i dont want him to see me like this"

grey woke up to see tht everyone was still fighting he struggled up to his feet and starts to regenerate

"I don't want that to happen!" Tails screamed at nothing.

"My friends, family, and lovers mean EVERYTHING to me! I don't want to lose the person who gave me hope when I had lost it!"

Then he thought of his past.......

"When my parents were turned into robots by Eggman, Sonic took me in when I was three.....He was the ONLY one to accept me.............even with my deformity...........I don't want to lose anyone else!!!!!"

Sonic whimpered slightly and scooted around behind Knuckles "Tell tails you can't find me" he whispered

grey teleports to were tails is grey still he still has a faint glow " what happend?

Knuckles sighed " Sonic, He is worried about you, he still needs you" he whispered " dont be foolish" he said standing as Sonic backed himself up so he was completely hidden"think about it ok?" he said walking around the long way to throw them off as Sonic nodded.

Knuckles spotted tails and walked over to him " any luck?" he asked

Flashback:

Living on Cocoa Island, Tails is the subject of much teasing because of his namesake - the two tails that make him quite different from everyone else. However, everything changes for the young fox when he spots a blue streak on the island. Intrigued, he begins to follow what he would discover to be Sonic the Hedgehog. Watching him, he decided that he wanted to be just as cool as his now-hero, even if Sonic (at first) pays no attention to his constant companion.

While eventually Sonic puts up with Tails' constant trailing, and even admires the fact that he is able to catch up to Sonic's own speed from time to time, he doesn't think much of it, and never sticks around all that long for Tails to get to know him. One day, while Miles Prower is exploring the beach, he comes across an antique bi-plane, and becomes immediately attached to it, and is only more excited when he sees who is napping under it - Sonic. Before he can let this sink in, Sonic is awaken by an explosion in the forest - a pillar of fire caused by none other than Dr. Eggman, who has followed Sonic in the hopes he would lead him straight to the Chaos Emeralds. Sonic immediately runs after his adversary, and Tails quickly follows.

Over the course of this adventure, their bond grows stronger, with Tails helping out Sonic when he needs it. By the time they reach the Death Egg, Sonic has grown to not only respect Miles, but to consider him a friend, and their relationship in future games reflecting an older/younger brother relationship rather than the tag-along nuisance that Sonic originally thought of him as.

End flashback

Tails felt tear form in his eyes as he stood there. Soon noticing Grey, he turned to him.

"No......"

Knuckles Grabbed Tail's shoulders and shook him slightly " Tai any luck?"
